UC Berkeley Rebrand
Rebranding the largest public university in the country is no small task. As a bellwether for all other public institutes, Berkeley needed a comprehensive and forward-looking solution to bring their brand in line. They also needed to reinforce their reputation as top-tier research institute while combating the negative connotations associated with the word 'public.' During a nearly-two-year engagement, we worked together to create a thoughtful — and thorough — approach to their brand, which helped inspire a campaign adopted by the entire University of California system.
